Goals for the MusE 1.0 release:
If you have some new ideas, please write them into the plans section and start a discussion thread on the lmuse developer mailing list.
[edit]
Terminology
http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_open.png = nobody is workin on this
http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_closed.png = fully implemented
http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_confirmed.png = partly implemented
http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_pending2.png
Here are some stuff that hopefully will make it into 1.0:
- http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_open.png 100% compatible to 0.7 and previous saves (or a seperate converter)
- http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_open.png completed manual distributed as HTML and PDF for printing
- http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_confirmed.png MTC Sync IN/OUT should be working
- http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_open.png Visual metronome
- http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_closed.png Provide a way to start MusE without relying on Jack (sequencer only) already possible as of 0.8.
- http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_closed.png merge midi/audio routing (ws/linuxtag04)
- http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_closed.png Add a project dialog which should open when MusE starts.
- http://www.muse-sequencer.org/pic/wiki/bug_open.png add k3b-like banners
- Tool (included in MusE) which provides help doing setup as:
- Finding out the AlsaTimer::setTimerTicks() - rate:
requested freq 1024 Hz too high for timer (max is 250)
- automated stats, f.i. if realtime module is loaded and useable
- user who started MusE; user who started jackd
- start jackd if not yet started
- are permission to /dev/rtc correct?
- how does muse perform in realtime?
- error log after muse has started (instead of stdout only)
- set -M -m switches if needed
Maybe some more ideas from plans
