error starting Muse?
#2

Since a few weeks i am not capable to start Muse anymore on the slave machine. On the master machine, with the same system running, Muse works. There is no error shown, it just stops and hangs:

<...>
What can i do to trap the error?

I recently installed a kubuntu system that possibly exhibits the same problem.
It's 32bit kubuntu with kxstudio.

Could you try starting with the switch -2 (to disable loading of LV2 plugins), on my system this is makes it start OK. I haven't yet identified the cause though, I will get back about that.

If this doesn't help, try starting muse with different flags

muse -d (to run in debug mode)
muse -D (to print out more information in the terminal)
muse -pNI2 (to disable all plugins)
muse -a (to run in midi-only mode)

These flags can mostly be combined also, hopefully this will give some clues.

Regards,
Robert
